These aren't the same as the RAM pods... I have a RAM pod and I'm buying this one b/c I like to spend money. :) but seriously, the RAM one blocks the speedo up to about 40mph... not that i drive the car that slow but i like the idea of it being centered... we'll see if it fits w/ my shift light too...

Would you sell them with the boost guage? How much?

I've got a Carbon Fiber one in the Classifieds, just like the one shown above...I'll make you a SWEET deal on. :)

thanks Tony, but I would probably want to go white to match the other guages

thanks

Just got my pod. looks nice! Just like the RAM pod, though, there aren't any screw holes to mount it to the bottom of the steering column (Tony, you know what I'm talking about here). I'll install it sometime in the next week, but I'm pleased.

Thanks!!!

Too bad about the mounts....that would haqve been about the only thing to sway me to change....just to have a little more secure mount to the column. I still might make the change.....but I'll likely bling out with the gauge rings first. :)

You guys will notice how snug they will fit after installing them ;)

As for the gauge rings fitting the Gen I, i am not sure as we dont have a Gen I nearby to check them on. We will have them shortly for Gen I specific.

Also, it appears that our column gauge pods may be Gen II specific and not fit the 92-95. We will probably run them for the Gen I guys if we can get enough interest!

AB - A-pillars coming soon :2tu:

FLX109 - we sell Autometer gauges and will probably get a package price together on the Boost/Pod shortly when the website is finally finished!

What holds the pod in place if there are no screw holes?

Shelby,
I took some triangle rubber bumpers, you know those little bumper jobbers that come with bug deflectors? I compared my new pod to the stock one, drilled pilot holes in the rubber pieces then golued them where they needed to be. On one of the sides you will need to replace the OEN screw with a longer one, this is because the molded screw hole on the OEM pod/cover acrually extends beyond the edge of the pod/cover.

Tony, Thanks for the input. I'm disappointed that the pod does not have the screw holes from the vendor.

Our gauge pods are computer programmed to fit directly over the existing column very snug. There is no need for tape, screws, glue or anything of the sort. You will not be disappointed with the quality or fitment of our pods or the non Viper Taxed product ;)

Yes, they snug completely over the factory column cover on the steering column and has the hole cutout for the tilt wheel adjustment and also the cutout for the factory hazard button! Very snug and will not harm your OEM components! We have sold more than 1/3 of our stock and running closer to half of them sold already. I will take an inventory after we ship out tomorrows orders and report back our findings! :2tu:

I dont forsee that being a huge issue, it will probably still work the way it is intended to. Any updates on your progress?

We have these in stock for anyone who would like to purchase one for your Gen II :)

I'll wait for the pillar pod, which I hope will be soon. Tell you the truth, I work with composits and can make it myself, but don't want to be bothered. Depending on cost, I'll buy it when it comes out.

for the MAD and others... I put the pod on yesterday. It literally pops over the stock upper part of the console. a little double-sided tape and it would be good to go.

MAD - you and I will need to remove the RAM 1500 pod we have an put back the old upper part of the console to use this one. In addition to this, it looks a little "ghetto" if you look at the pod from the side b/c it isn't flush... it is clearly on top of the stock pod. But the fit is good and no one will notice but us. :)
