I've owned over 20 Knuckleheads and panheads. Just sold a 1953 Indian Chief. I took a long vacation a few years ago and enrolled in the Harley Davidson training program at Motorcycle Mechanics Institue in Orlando and became a certified Harley mechanic (big woop). Did it for the knowledge alone. Expensive education (15 months and $15k). After 20 years finally came to my senses and now done with bikes.

They made XR 1000 motors till 1989 mine happens to
be 84 in a Lawwell frame set up as a street tracker
done before it was cool.

Newbie, first post Just bought a 2001 RT-10, 4600 miles. I have owned a V-Rod, Screaming Eagle Deuce, American Ironhorse slammer. Just sold the Slammer, no one around here wants to ride anymore, seems people just want to drive bar to bar and pose, so I gave it up, life (and summers here) are to short
