I have been trying to get a response from the OK VCA to find out EXACTLY what is going on but have still yet to hear from anyone. The letter states people to contact but there are no numbers to do so. I guess we'll just show up and see. If someone knows a number to call I don't mind at all.

Has anybody contacted the Porsche club yet to see if they know anything??

FYI, this morning I e-mailed their main set up guy, so as soon as he e-mails back I will immediately post up here and maybe a new topic just to be safe.

OK now I am confused. This was the response I just received:
Hi Jeff,
I do not know what newsletter you are referring too!

The Cimarron Region does not have an agreement with
the Viper Club to autocross this weekend. The only
people allowed to drive are members of the Cimarron
Region.

I figured that might be what happened since I didn't see anything about Vipers on the event. Oh well........

The thing that kind of perturbs me is that there is a notice going out about a Cruise in up in OKC but now no mention of this event. I have tried everything but to no avail. Unless I here of something by this evening I guess I'll do something else. Bummed

Why would they have an event in or VCA newsletter if we can't participate in it?

According to the VCA response, the Porche Club in OKC allows them to run with them but the one here in Tulsa does not. My neighbor that runs the meets for Porche was a little confused by that because the one here is a regional part of the national club, just like we are in the OK region of the VCA. Oh well all is not lost, I may head to the Guthrie thing or if there is another event going on.
