Viper T56 tranny for sale.
The Tranny has 35k miles on it. The only thing that is wrong with it is that it pops out of gear sometimes when going in reverse. You have to hold it in gear when reversing. Other than that it works fine and is in great shape.
To help a Viper Club member out I will sell it for $490 plus shipping costs.
How did I get this transmission? Real long story but here are the cliffs:
I had a problem with my car making noise why racing around HPT. I thought it was my rear end and took it to a mechanic. The mechanic told me it was my tranny. So I find a used tranny for $1,500 (a steal) buy it and have it sent here. Meanwhile I drive the car home and still don't think it was the tranny so I have a friend look at the car. It wasn't the tranny at all it is the rear end that is making the noise the mechanic is a retard. So I buy a rear end and install it. Car works fine.
Then after a few months of me trying to sell the $1,500 tranny for what I paid for it and shipping I say [*****] and install the tranny as well.
So I really didn't need to replace the tranny but did so because I had one lying around that I didn't have to hold in reverse.
Again this is a steal for $490 plus shipping.
