i believe its aluminum, very light weight. i showed the two bolts as this is
all that holds them in place. the chrome hoops weigh more, oh god now i've
added more weight, lol. from what i can tell, just MHO, they seem useless in
a hard rollover, meaning if the car was in the air and slammed down upside down
i'm sure the standard hoops would be crushed. in a soft rollover i think they
would last but i dont want to be the one who test this, lol.

Great looking car. New hoops look great! Do you think the bolts would bust of the hoop would just fold?

Sweet man!!! I'm looking to do the same. How much????

If I am not mistaken, I believe those are from Vipertrim.
Here's the link

http://www.vipertrim.com/srt_RW9513LRBMF.html

vipertrim hoops are the one's i installed. the pic on their web site does not
do justice to how nice they look in person. when looking at my pics you can
see how thick they are. i bought mine from VIPERGMC, i think if i had to pay
$715 i would have waited. vipertrim charge's viper tax in my opinion. they
have some other items i like but with the price's being what they are i will
wait on those items.

wormdoggy, he is a member.... He posted this .

"I have a set of the ViperTrim chrome bars for sale. They look great on the car. Due to my heavy track participating I installed the Autoform bar so I don’t need the chrome bars anymore, $400 takes em"

The stock hoops and the chrome hoops above are not roll bars and will NOT withstand a rollover. They're aesthetic add-on's. If you want roll protection, have a bar rigged up to mount in the stock locations. I think BTR makes one for the SRT.

Awesome pics. They look great. I am definitely interested. Anyone else? Maybe we can get a group buy together? Does anyone else make them besides Vipertrim?

I wonder , did you take any pictures when they were off the car. I'm still hoping the car looks good with no roll bars at all .

Another question - do you have to take the back panel completely off or just that middle plate I see in the picture?
