What happens if you cannot attend VO 7 and you have already paid and registered? Do you get anything back?

here is my experience with VOI REfunds & Cancelations. I was to attend the last VOI, it happened to be during the school year. I sent my $$$ in early (i was excited) but later found out that
my children were in school at that time & i had to bail. I don't recall that i rec'd a refund or a credit of any sort on my credit card. 2000 was a really bad year viper wise. I lost my $$$ on the Voi, i was scheduled to take factory pick up of a
2000 rt, Viper Headquarters called me to let me know that i could come pick up my car. I made the travel arrangements only later to receive a phone call from HQ that they tracked the wrong car. Lost $$$ on that deal also. but i did receive a
t shirt for my trouble.....but hey look at the bright side i won a viper at least. not everyone can say this......
