I have a boot cover/tonneau from a 2008 Viper that I used perhaps a total of 5 times; they failed to include one with my car when it was delivered to the dealer and it literally took them several months to get it to me after initial delivery.

I have no idea on pricing but I saw from a previous post that Chuck Tator was selling them as follows:

Given that mine is slightly used I would part with it for $450 if you are interested.

I've seen the oem boot covers on a couple of sites and ebay for about $350. Still expensive and not something I think most people will just give away.

Do people actually use these? I've never used mine once. The top folds down so nicely and looks fine. Seems like a pain in the rear to use the boot.

In my dusty part of the world(mining town), the tonneau keeps the exposed part of the roof clean. Plus, I think it gives the car a nice finished look with the top down. Albeit I'm probably the only one that notices.
