I am looking into possibly putting a new clutch on the snake this winter. Does any one here have any ideas for who sales a performance clutch that is good and will not fail like the factory one did in 15,000 miles?

P.S. I can drive stick the guy before me could not!

There's not much info on clutches here. Most agree that the stock clutch is pretty durable. A while back a manufacturer asked for interest in a carbon fiber clutch, but I don't know what ever came of it. I wonder what ORECA used?

My clutch (99 GTS) went out at 12,000 miles and I replaced it with a Kevlar clutch and aluminum flywheel from Parts Rack. The clutch feels great. It engages close to the floor, has plenty of grip, but still slips enough to be easy to drive. The car feels a bit quicker with the flywheel, but I can't say there is a huge difference.

FWIW, I'm quite happy with the results and would do it again.

Although, the clutch is a two point adder at Viper days so if you are worried staying in a class, you'd better add up your mod points.

My local Dodge dealer covered the labor under warranty and I bought the parts. overall, I thought it was a good deal.

I was told (by a reputable source) that clutches weren't covered under warranty. It was the deciding factor for me to pass on getting an extended warranty.
