Heh, nice ideas, but for some of us, just buying a '96 softtop isn't practical.

The only spot mine leaks is between my Vmania windows and top of the windshield, where there's no weatherstripping. I'd imagine I can install some small pieces myself.

Doesn't much matter since I try not to drive it in the rain anyway. However, had it in two rainstorms, and the aforementioned place was the only leak.

I have a V-Mania hardtop and the windows. She is solid and dry. Both will do the trick in rain and just about any other circumstance. Can't go wrong with the V-Mania setup.

This plug was brought to you by a proud owner. HA!

I added a small weatherstrip to the top of my VManias. Just enough to give it a snugger fit. It came in the perfect length.
