WB O2 drillout - What about the steel chips?

About to drll out the turn out bend for an Innovate WB.

I can drill it on the car, I can weld it on the car, I can finish it off on the car. But, for those of you that drilled and mounted the ****, do I need to worry about the tiny remaining chips blowing back into the cats? In other words do I have to struggle to take off the pipes or can I just git-r-done?

You can also use grease on the drill bit to catch most of the chips.

I've always found that the chips added a nice gritty texture to the exhaust.
