Well I really went to the dark side I traded my SRT for a Ford GT!

I did it I traded a friend his all black GT for my 900 rwhp SRT. I am gonna miss 1000hp! But the GT runs strong and handles awesome. At the dyno it put down 551rwhp bone stock paper filters and all. I still have my GTS I think I will wait till the Gen 4 comes out with more HP and get one of those

I keep trying to decide what to buy, a POZ06 (Piece Of.. Z06) or a Ford GT. Or just wait for the new viper.. OR.. just buy the 1 of 50 VCA 06 Coupes I am in line for.

Congrats....If you can own a ford GT....Do it....It is the most awsome ride i have been in for a street car. I have had mine since October...Completely different than my GTS.
If anyone needs a FE06 let me know.To anyone that is considering a GT....I highly recommend it....

A huge percentage of Ford GT owners are also current or former Viper owners. Something about all-American beauty and power, there is a similar attraction with both cars.

It had BETTER be a better car at almost twice the price. Hey... if we're not honest with ourselves, what's the point? We can hope DC steps up and delivers us something as good, if not better.

But I just took delivery of a blue SRT 10 from Woodhouse not to long ago. You can see the pics at Nu Blu in NorCal thread.

Anyway, when I started my search during the summer, most of the dealers were waiting for shipments to arrive. The only dealer that would let me sit and drive one was a Ferrari/Lamborghini dealership in Saratoga, CA.

It was bought a few days afterwards before I could get my money in order. It had a few miles on it and they were selling it for more than a new one!

I had always wanted a Viper and the practicality of being able to drive it daily is what made me go forward with the Viper. Not that you can't drive the Ford GT everyday...., but how many of you would even dare try and parrallel park something like that in front of a Starbucks!
