WERE ONE OF YOU HIT ON ROUTE 18 FRIDAY NIGHT????

Yesterday I was getting gas and I was told by the gas station attendant that on Friday night a red Viper was hit from the rear. Apparently the driver that ran into the Viper was not paying attention. The gas station attendant said that the car was pretty heavily damaged and that the owner was nearly crying. Is this anyone on this board? This happened on Route 18 North in East Brunswick, New Jersey. I have been looking to find the car but have had no success. If anyone saw this as well please let me know what happened.
