Hey Paul,
The Moton Club Sports, while a few more $$$ than some of the others are very nice pieces. They work extremely well and like most things, you get what you pay for. I have them on my SRT-10 and will have them on my GTS soon. Here are some features / benefits that I've noticed:
1 - They offer adjustable ride height not just for looks but you can get a better alignment with them than with the OE set up. You can also corner balance the car for better handling. This translates to better tire wear and much more predictable handling on the street. You know how brutal some of our concrete freeways are. Also, properly aligned, the car will be less "darty" than stock. If you have "bump steer", and every SRT-10 that I've driven does, a good tech can get rid of this more easily too.
2 - You can run different size tires and the car won't look funny, like a stink bug with a huge fender to tire gap. I run 18's on the rear because I need the additional traction. None of the 19's that are currently available "stick" very well with our cars.
3 - The ride firmness can be easily set to your preference. It can be set much softer than stock for comfort / cruising / travel and much firmer than stock for aggressive track useage. Also, I've found that with the Paxton's additional power, I can get rid of most if not all of the annoying wheel hop by simply adjusting the shocks.
4 - You can pick your spring firmness front and rear and you can change it at will, if you'd like. With the stock setup, you have what DC gave you. I went with 500lb front springs and 800 lb rears (recommended by Woodhouse). These spring rates, combined with the adjustability of the Motons for both compression and rebound give you everything you'd want in a mostly street, sometimes track, sometimes high speed, sometimes drag car like ours.
I guess you can tell that I like them. IMHO, they are the best shock product available for our cars, especially for the money.
I hope this helps.
