Every year I dump the PCM memory and reload the VEC3, as by the end of a single driving season, I can feel the difference.
Like dumping the PCM before you tune, flushing the PCM's memory annually makes a difference for those that can tell.
Housed in a decades old PBJ made VEC box, the three major issues of vibration, heat and atmospherics are resolved.
Atmospherics by means of running painters tape along the bottom edge when heading into a deluge, wash etc.
You can see the box on the right below PBJ's valve breather and collector. Red Box with Silver Logo.
The bottle has a sight tube to allow one to see if they need to turn the lower valve to dump the contents out for analysis.
It has a breather as well which I clean out and re-oil. When the valve begins to turn with resistance, I clean it all out.
In the other pic you can see his positive pressure NACA box. Beautifully made, it makes a difference and has a collection drain itself.
There to the right and under the right hand intake, you can see the yellow tag on top of the mounted valve oil bottle.
Anyway, old nicely made products of the period of the "Trinity"...Viper engines, Sean's blowers and the Vecs.
Kept properly, the Trinity still runs perfectly.
