What is this ?

I'm putting the finishing touches on a front crashed 01 GTS. I believe that I have replaced and plugged in all connectors but I realized this afternoon that I have an extra one. At the end of the wiring harness right front are the connectors for the headlight,foglight and sidemarker light. About 6 inches back (toward the motor) is a rather large 1 1/2" by 3/4" connector with a very short 2 1/2" pigtail off the main harness. I do not have anything left to plug into this. What is it?
