wheel alignment service

Just a quick question on a car that was recently advertised. On a 16,000 mile car, is there any reason to perform a wheel alignment service other than if the car had some suspension components replaced or ran into something? I saw this was mentioned in an ebay ad that ran about a week ago on a one owner car that was not supposed to have been wrecked. I'm new to the world of shopping for Vipers and would appreciate any help or insight on this one.

The stock settings are OK.For more agresssive driving a good alignment will do wonders. GTS Bruce

Did it have new tires? I always get a wheel alignment after buying new performance tires on any car. Cheap insurance to make sure the tires don't wear out early.

Ditto, I just purchased new tires and had 4 wheel alignment done at 15,000 miles. If everything else checks out it may be a sign the guy did scheduled and preventive maintenance.
