Wheel tire pressure sensors - more

I normally run on the street with HRE wheels with the sensors. I just got a set of CCW SP600 and BFG Drag Radials. My plan is to change to the CCW's for the strip and when I get back, remount the HRE's. Are there any issues I need to be aware of regarding the vehicle running at the strip without sensors, other that the obvious flat tire stuff, and then having the sensors back on with the street tires?
