When does your clutch engage?

I'm wondering if I'm going to need a new clutch soon. My clutch isn't engaging until the pedal is almost all the way out. It seems like it's taking too long to engage. I'm used to my other vehicles engaging pretty much as soon as I let the clutch out. Does this sound like a problem or is that normal for a Viper?

Both disk wear and the slave cylinder could affect the pedal engagement position. It also may not be an issue if the clutch is not slipping. Another indicator of clutch wear is hard shifting once it is heated up (track or strip).

For what it's worth, I swear that the engage point on my 2002 GTS is different in the winter vs the rest of the year.

Makes no sense, but I noticed that mine too was engaging right near the end of travel last week.
