Have an 02 GTS, was changing the water pump after having the Viper for 4 years. Runs with no noticeable issue. While changing water pump noticed what appears to be a white vacuum tube or plastic line underneath the manifold on the drivers side. It looks like something was once attached. There is a capped vacuum fitting on top of manifold. Can anyone advise, thanks in advance. See attached picture.

Probably PCV. Trace it back to see where it goes. Should stop just behind the thermostat housing. Look from above, thru the spaces in the intake manifold. Originally connects to rear LH side of air cleaner box.

A lot of people plug theirs or route to a catch can if they do track days, etc. Otherwise intake runners get flooded with oil.

Thank you Haneifk for the reply and info. I’ve included some more pictures. I think the one you mentioned does mount onto back of air-box which is braided 5/8” hose end that’s circled in picture. This small white tube goes into same bundle as the fuel injector wiring underneath manifold. I’m going to remove windshield cowling and see if it comes all the way through.

None of the above.

Its a branch stiffening tube for the wiring harness. It doesn't attach to anything, just helps the wiring harness retain shape and strength. Someone may have pulled it out a bit, they usually only stick out an inch or so.
