Where is the OBD2, or DLC found?

I want to program a new remote.

The instructions say " As #2, but instead of C13 you're grounding Terminal 1 of the DLC. (9/30 update...Ron found out that DLC is the Data Link Connector, i.e. the under dash OBD2 connector which is above your left knee )"

I can not find these connectors. I took the knee panel on the drivers side down, but couldn't find it there either. Does anyone know where it is?

It is not behind any panel, it is under the dash on the left side, cant miss it. It is a rectangular plug for the obd scanner. Hope this helps
