Where to store Viper in NYC area

I live in NYC and keep my car in a parking garage at an absurd price per month but I use it a few times a week as well the car has gotten more dings and dents from the garage that storing a Viper is not really an option.

My buddy near the city has a 2 car garage and offered me his unused bay which is an option at the price of free but he has no electric in the garage and I think keeping a battery tender is a good idea as well the garage is a little run down.

Has anyone used any of the storage places that allow you to store your car? There are tons by me in NJ and Long Island but wondering if that is any better.

I know this is a problem that most people don't have since you most likely live in a home with a garage but if anyone in apartment living or w\o a garage can share what they have done it would be appreciated.

There is a place in South NJ that specializes in exotic/classic car storage. The facility is top notch, wth electric... Its $200/mo. which is pretty darn good... But probably a hike for you... Hopefully that number gives you something to go by at least.. I would say, the closer to NYC you get, the price goes up..

I put my car there while I was having construction done at my house..

The free storage doesnt sound bad to me.. If you start and drive the car several times a month(or at least bring it to operating temp.), you really dont need a battery tender..

There are storage places all over the place. I would say to store it in NJ at a persons house not using their garage or a Public Storage place. I did Public storage for a season in the winter and had no problems.

Also another options would be to store in LI at a car Storage facility but it tends to get expensive.

I also know there is a storage place in NYC that allows you to park your car and walk with the keys. A few of my friends with Exotics park their cars there. I think it was somewhere in the 60s. If you are interested, shoot me a PM and I will get the exact info.
