With only 25 GT cars making qualifying today for the St. Petersburg Gran Prix World Challenge Race on Sunday, where would the Series be without Dodge? The illustrious Comp Coupe commands 10 grid positions with most of the Drivers coming from the ranks of the Viper Days Racing League. Adel Elsayed hit a wall in practice yesterday, but he did the rapid repair rumba and danced his way back onto the track to secure 23rd spot - way to go Adel. Bob Woodhouse also did the concrete 2 step, slamming into a wall after getting into oil laid down between corners 5 and 8. Sources have already stated the Duct Tape Duo will be masking the mistake , and the Big ***** will be ready to slither around St. Pete on Sunday. Amazingly, it appears Tommy Archer and Mad Max circled the course with identical times to the thousandth of a second, but the fiery Italian's second best time was a whisker faster and the Bowman will have to start in 4th. Not bad, since Tommy is carrying extra weight from his win at Sebring just a few weeks ago. Rob Foster is back for another race after running a couple World Challenge races last year, and he qualified a strong 13th in his 3rd start in a Comp Coupe. It appears you have to be Scottish , to grid fairly well , as MCCann, McClure, and McCann are the next three Snakes after Tommy A!
