I'm considering having black stripes put on my RT..I love the Bumblebee look of the GTS's but I've never seen a yellow RT in person with Stripes.

I came across this pic in Dimitrios's Gallery..What do you think , leave it all Yellow or Stripe it ??

Tough call, I am still deciding on mine.
LOcally I can get it done (installed) front to back in 3M for $300.
That way, if I don't like it...it only cost me $300 to find out!

Sure wish you had the front shot too

I prefer my women stripeless. In yellow anyway.

Ditto Chucks comment on RT vs. GTS.

Then again, silver stripes on a yellow car, now that I like.

I like stripes on a GTS, but not RT10. Then again, it doesn't matter what other people think... it's all about what you prefer!

Not a fan of stripes on the yellow R/T, love them on the GTS, just not R/T, specifically the yellow ones.

I have a yellow RT. It looked so bare with no stripes or spoiler that is was bording on a luxury car look. I went with the "sticker" stripes. For $100 a local sign shop cut them out of "high-performance" material (they are thin and won't peel off at 200 mph).

I can go back to bare any time. It's been three years and I have no plans to.

I do still want a spoiler, but that's a whole different subject.

Stripes would set those black wheels off. Do it.

Exactly.

If you had chrome wheels...no, definitely no stripes. But I think its clear to see that those black 546s will look great with 2 black stripes

I prefer no stripes on the RT, but if you have to go with stripes, get them painted! Vinyl stripes look cheap in my opinion (and I've seen a lot of them).

Do the Bumble Bee, as long as they are factory width and space seperation... other "immitation" stripes look fake (not as desirable also) and odd to me.

Always liked the RT/10 without stripes. Doing some badge, rim, and interior work on the RT/10 would look a lot better than adding stripes IMHO.

maybe its just me but i do find the yellow rt/10's a little "plain" it must be something about the color...maybe because im used to seeing more yellow GTSs and the GTS looks killer with stripes.....

idk if that made any sense, but i think your car would look great with black stripes...

I think if you stripe the hardtop (like the viper on the left in the first picture), it kind of looks okay.
But a striped RT/10 without the matching hardtop looks a little odd to me, it just doesn't feel right, I always get the feeling something's missing.

Do it, but the leave the space for the plate (rear) and the rollbar plain. Also, don't put them on the hardtop. The car looks to high then.

On an RT from the rear, I could go either way on stripes. From the front, stripes look kick a$p! And with your wheels, the Bumblebee look would be unreal.

Good idea to start with the couple-hundred-dollar vinyl stripes first, just in case.

Don't do it Jeff! If you have to, I too like the idea of starting with the vinyl. That way it is easier to go back when you realize the errors of your way.
