What kind of fluid do you guys us in the tranny?iv`e heard redline d4,mobil 1 atf,penzoil something or another.and of course the std that it comes with.the viper truck peeps use the mobil 1 atf with no probs and they say it shifts a hell of alot easier but with a little more gear noise.

I just changed mine last weekend...stick with factory specs...use Castrol syntorque LT from the dealership. Otherwise it may cause problems with the tranny...Dexron III may not handle the excessive load that the viper can produce at high speeds for long periods of time.

The tag on my tranny says Castrol Syntorq so that's what I use. You can also get it at GM dealers under part #12346190.
