Hi all, I thought you were not supposed to do that (advertise your classifieds here) ... yet I have seen three threads doing so, in the first two pages of the board here (SRT 10 discussion). I do not want to break any rules, but indeed want to let any possibly interested party about my car (of...
For anyone who may have interest among the MidWest Viper Club (for their gathering in Heath, OH on Sunday), or anyone coming to the Nationals, the car is just a few miles away. Thanks.
Thoughts on what 1200 miles does to difference in the value of those 2 cars? All options are identical as well. And for argument sake, let's say condition and any other factor is exact same.
Perhaps it is a "is there a big drop in value/price when car hits 5000 mile mark?
Should car be DRIVEN 1150 miles for about $150 in gas ... or shipped for $950? Has 3000 miles on it - '08 conv - Viper Blue.
I think you would depreciate the car MORE by driving it, than the $800 cost difference ... and by A LOT in my opinion.
Anyone have a COMPELLING argument for driving...
And / or if they KNOW if there will be any more?
What I am looking for is production of solid Bright (Viper) Blue conv's. I think only 30 in 2008 (of which mine is).
I know there is much uncertainty into the future ... just if anyone has an insider's knowledge thereof.
Thanks.
PS -...
A real tough guy used what had to be a key (or similar) to put a 1.5" scratch on the hood of my brand new Bright Blue Viper. It is right in front of where the scoop is. Of course I am being sarcastic about the "tough guy" because if I had caught him, it would have been his last act ever. What...
Anyone know of a way?
Someone on here a while ago had devised his own fabrication.
I checked auto parts stores, no dice (so far anyway). I want to be able to take positive cable off terminal in a raise of a small lever, or the like.
Picture the nut assembly at present, but instead with...
Got a screw in my brand new Viper's tire (Driver's rear) and Goodyear jacked it up under the exhaust covers. Now there is a sliver-like scratch (making white into the paint, and that you can feel) in the underneath of that panel. Is this acceptable?
If I have to go get this repaired and...
Car ran closer to me than I expected from 100-150 MPH. Below those speeds was a "blow away" by me (30-80 MPH especially - and when only running up to about 100 MPH), but one time from 100-150 MPH seemed to stay quite near through that 100-150 MPH speed range.
Pretty sure it was mod'ed (wheels...
Checked the other sub-categories of the website for bulletins, etc from the factory ... or experts like Chuck T for breaking in a brand new Viper. Anyone with the best of technical knowledge, please do tell me of where such bulletins may be (or of relevant knowledge).
I have no fax to receive...
Solid colors both.
All other things like mileage, in-service dates, etc, the same ... Snakeskin or Black?
Please give some relevant info like known sales info to justify.
And how much of a difference in pricing.
Thanks.
Does anyone know of any dealers that have one?
Zero options preferred, but would consider any. Thanks.
PS - Used leads ok too, just not one on here that just sold on eBay @ $65K & then was relisted here for $76.9K. Tis 'cause I arranged shipping for that car w/in hours and was gone. More...
2 just got away from me rather quickly. Both were 2500+ miles away for me so I had some logistics to solidify but ... others out there? And NOT the Venom Red color.
Hi all - I have posted about this before. I have a 2006 Viper convertible I take meticulous care of. My family had multiple GM franchises for 40 years that we represented with the utmost in competency and integrity. We were always at the top (in terms of customer satisfaction) in our zone of...
It is the panel that is the upper quarter panel (driver's side), right behind the aluminum exhaust cover panels. The panel was not perfectly aligned in my long-standing beef with Dodge that left me to hang (after they put new cats on the car ... and then re-aligned the side pipe yet again on...
I am looking to get into one (an '08 conv) - and friend who got me my '06 conv (that I presently own) is actively looking and said he had a used one for sale come across his dealership a while back. Sound right to you all? I did not want to question him then, as he is a straight shooter. But...
'06 with Michelin ZP's. Right rear, near brand freakin' new (just replaced less than a couple thousand ago).
I cannot find anything (like a nail) and have scoured it. No rim issue created either.
Do I have to find a good "Run Flat Equip" place? ... and even then, better I watch them to...
... After Dodge dealer replaced cat. convertor. Can/should I try to find out why ... or can I fix myself (get underneath enough)? By rocker panel, I mean panel that covers exhaust (whatever it's technical description/name is).
This dealership keeps causing more problems than they fix and...
What's the easiest way to access and/or remove the stalk (Multi-Purpose lever w/lights & signals) ... to check the wiring and/or connections?
Through the cover? ... (there are a couple holes coming from bottom ... what type of screw head/size)?
Anything is appreciated, just do not want to...
Has always ran great. Had to replace battery (found on here about problem with BCM's). Never addressed 'cause inconsistent solutions offered by Dodge dealers under warranty. To today, brand new battery will go dead if car not driven every few days to week.
Yesterday, car was fine. Got some...
