I have been on the board since Dec 96 (shortly after I bought my car). Back in the days of "top 10 lists" and "do all Gen I cars need head gaskets, and do all black Gen I's get cracks in the hood". :D
On the other board more these days - more lurking than posting on both boards.

I'm still around, been here a while, and remember the previous version of the board back when I first looking into Vipers...I think the join dates are somewhat carried over from that previous version.

Cool thread! So it's not just me noticing the passage of time here.

What about Joe117? I'd always regarded his comments highly.

Prior to my "05" reg date I've been lurking around here since about 99 or so, alot has changed since then for sure. Would be nice to see some people return.
Haha good point on the tuner names being turned to X's, but thatwas the old VCA right?:D

I think the join date of Oct 2000 had something to do with a previous site upgrade.

Yes, many new posts are old topics and the previous search comment is a good one. I always "watch" the topics since at 90,000+ miles on my '94 I'm sure I'll see my share of repairs starting to increase.

I'm waiting for the 100,000 mile forum to open. That, or more fix-it topics for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th owners that add miles vs. the original owners that might not have.

I don't see them much around. There's a few hand full of us that used to be regular posters but I see a lot of usernames I have not seen before. Guess we have a new Generation of people on here eh?:)
They either sold their Viper, got married, or went the ZO 6 route.:dunno:

Still here, but for some reason had to start over with my post counts. Sold my '01 GTS a few years ago, got a supercharged SRT Ram a year ago, its gone now. Will probably get another Viper here in a few years once my house is paid off.

Until then, I'm jumping into the Camaro Mustang Challenge series CMC) through NASA Rocky Mountain. I've been doing their HPDE programs with the SRT Ram (a crowd pleaser by the way!!) over the two years but I now wanna try wheel to wheel racing.

I've been here since 2000 and have learned a ton from you guys (and hopefully given a little in return). I can't foresee the day when there won't be at least one Viper in my garage.

I've been here for a while. Always reading and only post when I have something useful to add. No tuner injustices going on right now that I know of, so I'm pretty quiet.

I've been around since December 1997....a site upgrade or something causes most to show up as 2000.

I'm just across the river from you.....I've got a nice view of Louisville skyline from the Harbour's Condominiums.

I had saved the "archived" posts on the OLD OLD board - not sur eI still have them - but they'd be funny to read through.

Still here - lots of other distractions now, though.

I am sure a lot of people are "still around", but perhaps moved to the SRT forum, Diablo forum (ahem), and other places. Life goes on. Things evolve.
