Exactly!! Is this going to melt all over the engine? Wouldn't mind spiffing up the top of the engine but.....what is chrome vinyl?

It looks a bit ricey, but kinda I like it. It would match my Hipo power steering vent tubing, which is the only chrome under my hood. I don't think that the adhesive will stay in place very long.

The Gripper shift knob is the most popular knob due to its great feel and classic good looks. The manufacturer has gone a step further with their newest rendition to give the shift knob for the GTS and RT10 an awesome new look.
Each knob is CNC machined from solid aluminum and then high polish triple chromed or silver satin anodized to perfectly match the interior accents in the various year Vipers.
Then inserted is exclusive billet "3D" embossed viper head emblem into the top to finish it off.

I actually saw a picture under the thread 08 hoods on Hiss's viper I thought it looked pretty sweet have a look. Jon B has the valve cover overlays and the Viper store has the manifold overlay.

Had these vinyl strips on my manifold before I put the SC on. I thought they looked good. No probs with them peeling off or curling from the heat.

Looks like 1/4" door edge molding to me... Try any auto parts store for 19.95 and an exacto knife... Prowler guys do this to their plastic grills... To make them look like chrome...

Hmm I think they look good. But I don't have much chrome under my hood.

I water jetted a set for mine out of 16ga.#3 finish stainless.Put some 3m double faced tape on the bottom and wala....they look great and will never go bad.And they are not as shinny as chrome.

Saw this and wondered who would do this. Not for me.
Get some Mothers billet polish. Someone mentioned that it seems a bit ricey, agreed.
