my name is Ben and I'm a Viperholic.:newbie: i have probably been in denial for a while, but after scouring different dealers and the dreaded(although I love it...LOL)internet for months, and finally purchasing an '08 SSG Vert for my wife, I have to admit it. Especially since I am looking at getting another either an '05 Copperhead or an '08 Purple Vert( I havent seen one, but I bet it will be cool) I collect cars, and have a few nice ones, ask about them sometime, if you want. ok, now that thats out of the way.....carry on!!:eater::boozer:

shout out to my sweet wife...SSG CHIC!! WooHoo!

Welcome MusicNCars!

We've been waiting for your wife to post pics and we'll definitely want a driveway shot with both Vipers once you've found your Viper! Best of luck in the search!

Regards,
Aaron

Sweet nice to meet the mate...Welcome to the addiction. Get the Purple Coupe (with White Stripes)...after the 08, you will never want only 510 HP. 600 is the right number, that is why I had to give my Copperhead to my wife, it's just too slow...:lmao:

Thanks, guys! Car dude, that is one sweet viper that you are getting. We almost bought it a few weeks ago, but we decided that a convertible would be the way to go, for us anyway. I have two words for you on that viper.......Stun-ing.:nana:

I'm trying to get my wife involved in the Viper hype/lifestyle. I was suggesting the other day to her about getting her one and she stated that the Viper wouldn't be her first choice...that she would rather have another Mercedes. I'm trying to talk some sense into her and hope that after attending a Viper event she will be feeling the Viper excitement!!! :drive:

This may be the time to play caveman and hit her over the head with your club and drag her to the viper for proper worship:D

Maybe you should let her drive the Viper! She'd be sure to fall in love then.

I plan on it when we get back home in a few weeks. I've owned the car for alost 3 months and have only driven it for a total of 20 minutes at Christmas (long story). I can't wait to leave Virginia to get back home. I've been ordering upgrade parts and accessories left and right for my dad to install. So far he is the only one getting any enjoyment out of it.

While I'm sure your dad is having lots of fun, it sux for you. If you happen to head back to Texas through Western NC, let us know.

As for your wife, don't worry, she'll come around. How can she not fall in love with the Viper?

Having just downsized from five to four, I don't know how you do it. I used to think I wanted a huge fleet, but that's a lot of work. Nice cars though.

It would be a lot more fun if we had more than 6-7 months of good car driving weather. Oh and BTW I found what I should name my car "The Green Machine". It was my favorite toy as a kid. Maybe I can get a license plate that says "GRNMACHN".
