My thoughts as well. I was thinking 37-40. Of course, they could give 45 and sell the 08 near sticker, or lower the price on both the '08 and trade. Unless you know the price of the new car before bringing in the trade, you never know what they are truly giving you.

I'd guess $50-52,000 sell or $40-45,000 trade.

Here in Canada my friend got $40 on a trade in for an '09. He figured it was worth $45,000 (with 40,000mi.) to sell, but we have GST here and trading in the car saved him $5,000 worth of GST. Check your taxes. His car also has better brakes, HHR wheels, Paxton, headers and exhaust, guages, AEM, tires, etc.
