We are set up for a meeting at NOON EDT (that's 11 AM CDT, noting that Fair Oaks Farms IS ON CDT) at Fair Oaks Farms for May 9th, 2009. It is located just east of I-65 at exit 220 (about 100 miles northwest of Indianapolis, IN). We should be there prior to noon (EDT) so we can enter together. Its $7 to get in which covers all activities. The plan is to eat, meet, and then take a 45 minute bus tour. There are lots of additional activities for those who wish to take them in. They are the Birthing Center, Cheese Plant, "Cowculus Class" , diva hall, Exhibit Hall, Grass to Glass 4/D movie, Interactive Area, and "Mooville".
We have reserved a meeting room and tour by preordering 20 soup and sandwich meals. Half are grilled cheese and half are grilled cheese with ham. Half are with soup and half with chili. We can change the order and even cancel up to one day before. If more show, they can order off of the menu. They suggest preordering to avoid lines which, they claim, can be long. They also claim the heavy traffic usually starts at 12:30 PM EDT(11:30 AM CDT) so we should beat that.
Suggested parking is behind the buses at the back of the lot which is visible when entering. There should be no pedestrian traffic since buses must load and unload at the entrance to the Adventure Center.
