Anyone have recommendations for a shop that could install/help install an autoform rollbar for/with me? I'm in Maryland.

- or if you have any lessons learned, I'm all ears.

I haven't ordered it yet, trying to get my ducks in a row & then phone it in.

Thnx.

I do not think it has to be a Viper specific shop. I have a little background on this one as I installed one myself. The parts and instructions were straight forward and do not require specific Viper kmowledge. I would be inclined to find a shop where there was good trust in the mechanical capability. Quite a bit of opportunity to damage the car. So a careful person who measures twice and cuts once is appropriate. Lots of opportunity for scratches and the like also with seats, interior compnents coming out and in.

Piper Motorsports in Virginia, they are near Dulles Airport. They have done a few Vipers. I actually saw a B/W GTS they had done a few months ago. Stellar workmanship.

Piper just did my friends TT C6. They did a great job.

If you decide to do it yourself, it is not hard at all. Just be careful and have a budy help you with the seats removal and bar installation.

You have to drill some holes and trim the top lip of the rear tub. Not very hard to do.
