So, the drivers side was fairly straight forward and no issues, but I am looking at the passenger side and it looks much tighter. Is it really possible to get the factory manifold out in one piece? What's the trick to that? Unbolt and lift the motor? (I think i would rather just cut the useless thing out...what's a used manifold worth anyway???).

If you're installing headers, you may as well jack the engine cause that's the only way you're getting them in.

You have to jack the engine up because there is NO WAY you're gonna get anything back in there.:nono:

Many do the mounts at the same time because this really is necessary. We also remove the valve covers for better access. Trust me this is the best way.

Good luck,

Valve covers - you never mentioned anything about the stinkin valve covers:omg:? This job truely is a real PIA and you should definitely consider doing the mounts at the same time as this will make both jobs 1000% easier. I did cover my valve covers with duct tape to prevent any scratches though.

:rolaugh: we remove the valve covers for the headers... not the mounts, sorry for the confusion. :D
