Went to Rockingham this past weekend. DA 2700ft. It was hot as hell, but still ran pretty good. Ran the 18" 345 MT ET Streets.

First pass was 11.2, then 11.0, 10.88, 10.84.

The 10.84 pass at 3:04pm.

60 - 1.571
1/8 - 6.983
MPH - 100.52
1/4 - 10.845
MPH - 127.86

Tune is still off, rich as hell all the way down the track. The back of the car is so black, almost can't even read the license plate:lmao:

Still running with no advanced timing either.

Will post vids when they are uploaded.

Nice times. You forgot to mention you go smoked by a Trans Am on your best run! LOL

Haha...and it's a girl driver!

But Sheila and her husband Philip are really good people. She was actually the first woman to run on the original PINKS show...but lost. That TransAm is a 9.4 car all day on nitrous, but I was lucky enough that her car had a grounding issue that day or I REALLY would have got whooped:omg:

Have you got any final Dyno numbers of the build?

Only numbers so far..590rwhp/614rwtq with stock timing. With 2 degrees advanced with the vec3 it made 600/625, but the VEC was messed up internally so I had to pull it off.

Still need to lean it out more. I REALLY need an AEM and start messing with the timing again!

Where is 1BADGTS? I figured he would have said something about another all motor car running 10s.

I'm 575 rwhp all motor at 105 degrees and crappy 91 summer blend AZ gas right now. Had to pull some timing just so it wouldn't detonate. I'm sure the motor has a little more and 10s in it, I'm just hoping I can pilot it there when it cools off a little here in AZ!

Great stuff, 2001 GTS! Congrats..

I've got a 2001 GTS also. I'm at 580 rwhp, 590 rwtq, on Cali 91 octane

Engine mods are: Striker Heads and Cam, Edelbrock headers, Corsa cat-back. Thats it.

If I had known better in advance, I would have shaved the heads to bring the compression ratio up. I'm still at stock compression. It would have been a good idea also to put forged pistons in, while the motor was up. There's some good advice right there, for anyone going all natural on a 2001 or 2002. As long as you are going to tear it apart,- Plan ahead, and do it up right.

ps your trap speed should be 5 mph higher to make certain throw the stock tires on for a run(take the slicks out of the equation) IF you cant break 131 is =POWER ISSUE.

Temp/DA was a big factor, so when it cools down I'll run again. Don't really want to waste time running on street tires, rather run 100% or none.

To each his own just realize sooner or later be prepared for some sort of driveline issue.

You act like I am new to the game, I've already been through all of the drivetrain parts in one way or another;). A look back to some of my old threads would show that.

You guys must have some super special cold air intakes...my car has ALWAYS lost mph in the heat and humidity of the SC summer compared to the cooler months.

You're telling me the mph should be the same at a DA of 4000ft as 0ft...:lmao:

I brought you in this thread because you make yourself out to be the resident NA expert.
