Radio doesnt work but CD player does..

Has anyone else had this problem? On my gen 3, the cd works fine but the radio will not work. The stations show up but there is no noise, static, nothing. The guy I bought it from said it worked before he took the battery out. He put the battery in it before I looked at the car and since then it hasn't worked. Any ideas?

well the cd player works, fm has nothing, and am has static. so now im really confused. I checked the manual and I didnt see anything about a radio fuse. Could it be under the dash?

I would check the antenna, perhaps it is disconnected or a broken wire. If all looks okay try plugging another antenna in.

thanks for the advice, Ill be taking out the radio and checking connections
