I certainly like the black finish on it. I believe there were issues with the throttle body idle hangup that the manufacturer and DC are working through.

Can someone please explain how the porting of the intake manifold without matched porting of the head will improve airflow and thereby HP/TQ? As a layman, it would appear that although half the intake system would flow better, where it meets the head, there would now be a surface mismatch (an newly created "lip"), which should actually cause more airflow problems than the ported manifold would help.

Isn't the system only as good as it's "weakest" portion? :dunno:

My ignorance hurts.

I was thinking about ported manifold, but talked to Greg Good and he had comments very similar to your questions, hence, I decided to pass. At least until I see before and after dyno on the the same car and the same day I remain skeptic.

nowhere to now here TM
Why wouldn't it work...its not like headers are port matched to the heads, yet they show an improvement in flow. Reverse theory must be true. The air can flow into the heads better, just like a better throttle body can allow better flow into the intake.
