Out of curiosity what are the demographics of Viper owners. Have seen typical Vette and Mustang owner stats but never Viper. :dunno:

This is only educated guesses, but I'd say white male, 25-49, college educated. I'm thinking income is all over the map, especially since Vipers can be bought anywhere from $20k-100k

Yes, Vette stats seem to be pretty spot on based on my own experience (including myself, middle age, gray hair, overweight, ugly-can't get a ******* girl to look at me even with a $100 taped to my forehead, still borrow money from mom for gas) with fewer exceptions but seems Viper owners are kind of all over the map.

Chrissssssssssssssssss.....its an important stat and info...every car brand studies demographics. It helps understand who is buying their products and why. It helps car companies set price points, and let them know how much r&d to put into new designs based off projected/anticapated sales.

Viper owners are overwhelmingly conservative white males. Thats not a bad thing, or good thing..its data. Less than 7% of Viper owners are female...and besides my wife, I have NEVER seen a Black woman driving a Viper. Im saying all that to say this....the data is iimportant so bean counters can predict sales and know how much to invest in research and development.

But if you wanna know who owns Vipers...just track who owned dirt bikes when they were kids. The demographics are dramatically similalr...overwhelmingly white males with a sprinkling of everyone else.

But lets narrow that demographic even more. You wil also notice that Viper owners have a highest rate of veterans for a car in this price range. The highest rate of self employed people, and the highest rate of stable families and marriages for sports cars in this price range. Viper owners have a higher sense of loyalty to their car makers brand...and a higher sense of loyalty to their friends in the Dodge community. Those are intagibles you cannot readily measure...but trust me...its there.

What got me wondering about this for those who wonder why I would wonder bout such things was a small article in Automobile magazine comparing the average Camaro owner to the average Corvette owner in terms of age and income plus some other factors. I had never seen demographics for an "average" Viper owner.
Owning all 3 made me want to know more about my average self. :crazy2:

Wow, most people only take 4 years. :p Just kidding. Seven years myself. BA, MA and start of PHD but never continued it.

From being on this fourm for a while now, it seems to me that many Viper owners have a lot of pent up rage. Maybe that's why they like the raw attitude of the car.

"Shape - Round is a shape"

So is Pear.

That's when your girth is equal to or greater than your height!

You can just tell people "I'm a little short for my weight."
