hee hee. Yours was standard on the LE? On my GTS order I had to choose it and pay for it as an option. Not sure what it even looks like. Hoping for a stryker logo on the front.:cool:

Yes.. It comes with all the LE cars and is numbered .. and Yes,,ther is a Stryker logo on the front . However its the same size approx as the real emblem on the car...

Guys ..just want you to know I am not bragging. I am a private person and would actually preferre no one knew I even have the car. However, I know there are allot of poeple out there that want as much info and pictures about the car ..so thats why I am doing theses posts...Because the car is so new...I feel a certain obligation as a new owner of this new Generation of Viper to offer images and details..the best I can..and I am Happy to do it for everyone.

If anyone wants some info or a certain image let me know..I will do what I can to to oblige..

sorry bluestreak... I dont quantify " Viper ownership" based on dollars per mile.... in fact it brings me just as much joy
owning ,looking at it, detailing it and talking about it. Its like a work of art to me. And the miles I do put on it are purposeful miles.... Im just not going to rack up unnessacary miles driving to work, run errands , going here going there...some people have to show off..I dont.( not saying you do ) Just saying for me and others like me the once or twice a month hell ride along with the every moment of the day I enjoy the car thinking about it and looking at it in my garage or driveway .. is more than enough of a value ratio to me... there is nothing else I would rather spend my money on ( except family of course, they are always taken care of first)

Good points. But driving is fun too, even if it is just to the grocery store, in fact, it's one of the only reasons I'd go to the grocery store. As an excuse to drive the car. lol.

I know Stryker Red glistens well in the sun, but man does GTS Blue do that well too. Congrats on the purchase!!

thanks for that. its exactly why i asked about the cover. its tough purchasing things you've never seen....and at a 6 figure rate even more difficult ;)

Congrats on the arrival. Sure is a beautiful machine. Us custom order guys are frustrated but we need to have patience I guess.

I'm fine with a June delivery. But missing the entire season would really ****.

Keep posting pics and first impressions of the snake! I say if you can afford to buy this kind of car, you've earned it :2tu: And you should definitely share this experience with others by showing the car, and not hiding it. :headbang:

So apparently the LE's are not delivering in numerical order. Glad SRT isn't in charge of delivering Easter - by the time they got around to it we would all be shooting off fireworks, eating hot dogs and raising the flag!

Now as for its operation, we've heard mixed remarks about the interior comfort level. Which is ironic, since the interior was supposed to define this new model. What say u?

Also, as for operation: Light clutch or heavy? easy to row up shift & down? easy to find each gear? are the clutch pedals easily adjustable? Any break in recommendations? I've heard both great and fair exhaust note sounds on youtube. How is the note while driving? Sound meaner with the windows down? How is visibility? how about...ok I'll stop now. :)

ok..good questions,,,The seats are hard..not enough padding...the gen IV seats were comfortable, the Gen V not so much. The leather and build quality of the seats along with the power adjust-ability of the seats are awesome and almost make up for the comfort...but I think they need another 1/2" or so of cushion...as my ass doesn't have it built in as I am a slim guy. The interior is nice and kinda has an Italian design look to it...the gauge cluster and data/Nav screen are awesome and I haven't even come close to defining all the details..Although I synqed up my I phone really fast and was playing music and taking calls in seconds ( no cables)

The Clutch is sooo much lighter and shifts much better than the Gen IV . Thanks in part to the aluminum flywheel. Instantly noticeable and improves the driveability of the car.
The peddle adjustments are on the left side of the steering column so you dont have to lean down to adjust the peddles..real nice

I always break in my cars gradually . the manual advises against hard full throttle acceleration untill after 500 miles..but thats the same thing they have been saying for years..
I dont believe in hard break-ins..but I also wont baby the car either,

The exhaust is a little more " cracklier " when you rev it in nuetral.....sounds a little different than the stock Gen IV a little louder I guess...

Viability is about the same

Yes.. Im disrepected all the time in my daily driver Prius...thats ok I've avaergaed 62.3 mpg over 13k miles...all I say is dont judge
a Prius owner just like you cant judge a book by its cover.....

Usually Prius owners disrespect the hotrodders. I appreciate the fuel savings they provide, but am a sucker for raw hp. Almost bought a ES300H in December to commute in :)

Now access to the battery and the Amplifier is easy.. No tools required!!! The floor of the trunk simply lifts out as one panel and voila. The battery compartment is right there
all tubbed out and sealed from the elements ( except a small drain hole ) The other module pictured is the Stability Control Module.. wow.. seems weird typing that word when

lets us know how long u can go without a battery tender. Is it a deep cycle batt? i'm guessing if you run her weekly u dont need a charger

I put it on the battery tender shortly after I brought the car home... always have on my Vipers....

I wanted to put it on as Im sure the car has had allot of starts since it was made a month or two ago...and since it only had 13 miles on it.. I wanted to top the battery off sort of speak and get it back to peak charge.

Don't stress over FANGS being on the Diff Housing. My SRT-10 had SNEAKY PETE on the side of the T-56 Trans just to the side of the shifter. I don't think SNEAKY PETE is on the T-6060 boxes, but it would be pretty cool having all three Viper logos on a new car. IMHO
