Congrats on the amazing new ride!
Oh yes, Ralph got back to me right away!

I know everyone will forget about the time lapse once they take delivery!!

Can't wait to get it out on the street.

Lucky dog, I never heard from anyone when I canceled mine. I'm starting to think time to look at something else.

Contact your regional VCA president or even VCA HQ - somebody will be sure to send your comments and concerns up the ladder accordingly. No guarantees on the results of course, but the club always tries to help folks out when it can.

I would say there is not much the club can do. The cars are sequenced and I think it would be very hard to change it. VCA members were supposed to go to the head of the line How did that work out? My order was entered 3 minutes after the system started accepting them. I have the paper work and an early VIN---400008. My car was built after 400+ others...most went to dealers and are now on Auto Trader...

That is the bitter pill... SRT should have treated people who put cash down as brand ambassadors - those who would have the cars out on the road.

Instead it embraced the majority of dealers who are only interested in the dollar bills.

I get the production delays. I don't get the building custom cars to sit on dealer show rooms while customers sat waiting. (And yes, I realize to SRT dealers are the customers)

Amen brother.

Y2K5SRT, I've spoken to my VCA regional president a number of times about this. He tried to help me, even while visiting Conner he spoke to the master scheduler and some other high-ups at SRT. I've had a number of people that have tried, and continue to try to help, which I greatly appreciate. But there's some sort of impenetratable wall inside Conner, something is amiss. Priorities are wrong.

I ordered the morning of the first day of the first wave. I had my deposit into my dealer BEFORE ordering opened. Still waiting. SRT has commited to getting my car started in Frame by end of June. If that happens, I will not cancel my order. Otherwise, I'll buy one of the couple hundred sitting on dealer lots. You know, the cars that are beginning to get marked down below MSRP?

If this is something new, then that's encouraging. Better late than never. I will contact VCA again and see if they can help. But unless there is some sort of new effort by SRT to give us VCA members some respect, I won't waste my time.

I'm with ya. D1 status even at this stage likely means weeks to build and then likely weeks to ship/deliver realistically which means missing most of the summer. Wasn't the point of ordering and paying a deposit back in 2012.

Got a funny feeling that this Shadow Blue Pearl avatar of a fictional car is gonna turn into an Adrenaline Red Avatar of a non fictional one very shortly.........

Couldn't blame you.

Though, someone who is now waiting for the car to arrive at his doorstep... Once you get the call to do the paperwork - you forget about the last umpteen months...

Venom V Policy Limits you guy are getting screwed over. There are so many car now sitting on Autotrader. Your car still have not been delivered. Wow is all I can say. I was thinking about a 14 but there is so many other cars out there in the Gen 5 price range. I'm keeping my 04 and will be looking at a Jag F type next week. I really hope you guys get your cars soon!!!!!!

Thanks Mamba, we are on the home stretch. My dealer just confirmed that I am still on track for Frame status this month. If not, there are good deals on black Gen V's all over the place.

I'm glad to see you decided to pick it up after the cancellation. You already waited for it, no sense letting someone else enjoy it. And, you are absolutely right about not worrying about the wait once you receive the car and drive it around. I would have waited even longer than I did, for this car.

Besides, I'm glad the white car is leaving Houston. That way I can be the only white Viper in the area again :)
