Since everyone here is a car enthusiast, what is the most fun car you have ever driven? Doesn't have to be the fastest or most exotic, but the most fun?

I have never driven an AC Cobra (replica, etc) but it sounds like with the hp to weight ratio it would be a blast....if not somewhat scary.

Thanks. Look forward to the answers.

You know what? With the cars I've owned including the Vettes and Vipers, this little car I have to say is the most fun.
It's nothing really, super cheap but will put a smile on your face as soon as that turbo kicks in.

Being able to use as much of the full potential as possible of a car on the tight&twisty backroads is fun. For that I like me a light&nimble drivers car like the Miata or RX7.

I here that NSX is fun for this as well but havnt experienced yet...

I had a Saturn Sky Redline before the Viper.

The handling characteristics of that car were amazing.
I sometimes think about getting another one for a daily driver.

............but then what would I do with the Corvette.

Mallett puts a corvette v8 in a solstice and sky . I've heard they are awsome . I have a Mallett CTS V that make more hp than my Viper, but it's a fun heavy car. That's why I'm interested in the Cobra.

It was not this model but it looked something like this. It was 1952.

I saw a Miata with an LS3 crammed in it at a track day last season. ;)

It still wasn't able to keep up with my Viper. :headbang:

I had a green one, but a little bit newer model! Loved that car!

No doubt I am about to be laughed out of this forum, but it is true for me that the First Gen Neon R/T's are by far the most fun cars I have ever driven in my life. More fun than the gen 5 T/A or Porsches and various Asian sport cars like the NSX or MR2 TURBO, or the German imports, hell even the 612 i drove pale in comparison to the little toss-able and forgiving Neon. In fact there are only 2 other cars I have ever driven I would trade the neon for...

1) G35 with brembro track brakes
2) Future model L-series Chrysler product... that's all i can say

Hey that's why I posted this . Fun isn't necessarily the fastest most powerful car . To people who have owned lots of cars, fun has so many different meanings .

I'm still searching for my most fun car !!!

Most fun car is the one that has high HP/ton. Love driving my friend's 1200 pound 68 Lotus Super 7 on switchback country roads. Next car is another friend's 2007 Noble M400, 2350 pounds with over 400 RWH. These cars drive like Go-Karts very precise and super quick in the turns. I also did like my Mini Cooper S in the early 70's. But, I still wouldn't trade my Viper for one especially now that I have collector plates on it. Can't wait to see people's reaction when I'll take it to car shows. Collector Viper, what? Hehe

I hear that a lot...Power is great, up to a certain point, after that it just becomes scary. It's nice to be able to accelerate out of corners without having to fear for your life every time you put the foot down. :D

High 10's Fast and fun. Quarter mile car. Suspension was set up for drag racing, handled like a dump truck on turns but on straight lines it was killer.

Indy, what's your car?
I have a GenII, which is a blast to drive, but my first car was a little 4 ****** Honda with stick shift, and although it wasn't super fast, it put a smile on my face every time I drove it. I loved that little car :D

I had a 2005 NSX (last year they made them) and it really wasn't all that great... especially for the $..... I've had an 08 Z06, my 09 ACR, a couple 03 Cobra's... for whatever reason, I have found a RX8 to be as much fun... not nearly as fast but nice looking, quick steering, short shift, good handling, etc..... if there was a way to get 200more HP into one it would be even more fun..... I think they do a mid 14's qtr but overall a very easy to drive, fun car.

lowered with some 255's and a noisy greddy exhaust. I have pics of the speedo at 155... took a lifetime to get there but....

noisy, as in a noisy vacuum cleaner :D But you're absolutely right. I've driven the RX8, and sure does drive well. I think there are quite a few turbo and supercharger kits for that car, not sure how long the rotary can take the boost though.

ya.... I don't like to just piss $ away and I am pretty sure any turbo or SC kit will be unreliable and not worth it..... at some point I had no cat and an aftermarket exhaust.... it shot flames which was pretty cool.....and was loud as ****!!! :D

Talk about loud as hell, I had a 2009 370Z with a few mods...my favorite being the Meisterschaft full catback. Was snappy and fun at high rpm, but no torque whatsoever. I did kick the hell out of a lot of Mustangs and Challengers though.

I have heard so many raving about the NSX or is it just the raw earlier models without power steering etc??

My '98 Trans Am is still my favorite car I've ever owned. That thing was a riot. So easy to do wild burnouts in, and it would beat virtually anything from stop light to stop light when i had it in 1998. I also enjoyed the t-tops.
