All:

As you know, if you are the original buyer of a Gen V Dodge offers a free Viper Track Day with Viper Track Experience. I know several here have attended, and several more are scheduled to attend, at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

If anyone is interested in sharing a cab or Uber, etc. to and from the Strip on Saturday, October 24, 2015, please send me a private message. I know we must be there early and are done around 4 or 5pm.

Thanks, and hope to see you there!

OK so I've heard of the srt track experience, viper rendevous, viper days. What is this? I know you get an srt track experience with purchase and if you purchase
Within 90 days of going to a track experience they give you two.

Call SRT Headquarters as this is not just something you can show up at, and it is likely full this October. You also only have a year to take advantage of this , so get your info in and chat with the folks there --1-800-998-1110

I certainly will. I love most any thing track related. If I would have known I would have tried to make plans to go to one. Anybody know if Viper Days will continue
Next year?

Thanks, Bill I called this morning and spoke with a specialist. The only down side to this is I would have to be considered a
non driver. My car was a gift from my hubby so it's in his name. I would have to watch him drive around. That ain't happening. Lol

Stealth, are you in our email/message group for the event? There's a group of 20 of us coordinated, we're having dinner together and working logistics.

If you are, then cool, I may not be connecting you with an email address or your handle on the 'other' site. If not and you'd like to be, shoot me your email and I can hook you in on our thread. Dinner is at the Wynn on Monday at 8pm if you're still in town and want to hang out, some are tracking it before Monday, some after .... my day is Tuesday.

Dave.

So it was a straw purchase.....
Ha! I told him that we could go and I would watch butttttttttt it was going to cost him dearly.:eater: like you know me going to Viper Days and him not driving and
bringing me fresh drinks holding an umbrella for me to keep me cool and cheering me on from the side lines. With a smile of course. Also, maybe some new shoes. The red bottom kind:D

Just got home from attending the Viper Track Experience in Las Vegas and I can say is it was totally awesome. Truly had a great time of it! Just wish I had not waited so late in my life to do something like this. I could have enjoyed my cars over the years so much more. Also would like to say it was a pleasure meeting up with other Viper owners from all over the USA. Vipers are a beast!

OK so I want to know all about this. Tell me how it went . What was on the schedule for the day and what was your favorite part. Pics please!

The day started out with a very nice catered breakfast which consisted of hand-made omelett's if you wanted one and all types of fruits and various drinks were available. After breakfast, we got to meet the instructors who then gave us an insight into what was going to take place for the day. They went over the do's and don't and so forth. Since there were 19 participants, we were divided up into two groups. One group would do the auto cross course and the other group would do the road course. This worked out nicely since in the auto cross course because once it was decided which team had the quickest time of the day, that team would get bragging rights at the end of the day and were recognized during the debrief. We started out with an instructor for two laps where he or she would give you tips/pointers on how to handle the car in the turns. This was the best part of the day because you were alone in the car after the first two laps with the instructor. Each one of us basically did 12 laps in the auto cross course. I was amazed how much I learned in those 12 laps, zigging and zagging around the cones in a timed run and how well the Viper handled. After that was over, we took a lunch break where they provided another catered meal. That consisted of BBQ beef or sliced beef with all the trimmings. It was so good, I know I ate to much! Then it was on to the road course were everyone got to drive the course with an instructor. I must say that was so much fun, although we were never left alone driving on the road course. That would have been awesome too! But I guess things could have got out of hand. We were only allowed to get the car up to around 120 mph or so on the straight-a-ways. Each person got 12 laps in on the road course also. After that, each participant got to take 3 hot laps around the course with a professional driver. Now I must admit, that was freaking awesome too. This is where I realized how well the Viper handles around curves at high speeds. The Viper is a beast! But I knew that already. After everyone was done with doing their laps, we headed back to the main building for a debrief and were given parting gifts. Those who had the fastest times on the auto cross course for 1st, 2nd and third place received a small trophy. I'm so glad I took the time and used my free track pass that was given to me when I purchased my car. It was well worth it to make it out to Las Vegas to the track and learn what my Viper can do. And what made it great was that my team hammered down and got the bragging rights to walk away with and not to mention meeting other Viper owners. I'd do it again in a New York second. I didn't take any pics, was to busy watching the other drivers during their laps. Each lap was recorded and you were given a copy to take home with you on a thumb drive. This showed you driving the car and the drivers view as well.

That's awesome. It sounds like the srt events. I've done a few of those. I actually won head to head at Vir and would have won the whole thing but I blew it by one cone in autocross. Of course my husband won that event . He didn't let me forget it either. If they do it again next year ole Broom will be in attendance. I did not
Know anything about it until I read about it here on the forum. Sounds like a great time. Maybe next year. :drive: I would love to participate in that.
