Question regarding stock exhaust v-band clamp

In the factory the assembly process is monitored, especially torque, clean new part, OEMs usually discourage reuse in applications for dealer service because it would take too much time to define a process to prep / clean and check the clamp (threads, corrosion, torque strain, etc..) for...

Question regarding stock exhaust v-band clamp

I did the same Holger to weld on some flanges for a straight pipe to swap out the cats and resonators when needed.... no issues, clamp may just need a couple hits with a hammer or whatever to crack it loose when you take it off for the first time. Reused the clamps with no issues.. Cheers, Mike

    GEN-V considered a mid-engine?

In automotive design, the end centers of the crankshaft has to be between the axle centerlines in order to be considered mid-engine. So if the front center of the crank is behind the front spindle axle centerline, it's consider a mid-engine. Not sure if that answers any questions... just...

Preventative tip regarding the window reg clip breaking - Lubricating the assembly

My passenger window was going slow..... I could sense the tension inside the assembly potentially breaking the clip if I forced the window up and down. The tension is surely due to lack of lubrication and not being used that often (especially the passenger side), having slight corrosion in the...
