A/C Clutch Wiring Issue - Guru with Wiring Diagrams Needed

Okay, this is a boring post for sure, but I need a hand troubleshooting my 1998 RT/10's air conditioner compressor clutch. If anyone out there has the wiring diagrams and is bored enough to help, I'm in your debt. PROBLEM: Intermittent A/C clutch engagement even...

HELP! Passenger side sill hot as hell!!

I'd guess that one (or more) of the spark plug wires on the passenger side of the engine is bad (i.e. leaking a portion of it's current to ground prior to gettingto the spark plug electrode). This happenned to me last summer, new plug wires cured the problem.

How to do you remove a GenII radiator ?

Okay, so I'm replacing one of the air conditioning hoses (the one that connects the A/C compressor to the condensor), and it has become clear (even after taking out the air filter box, dropping the front stabilizer bar, removing wire harnesses, disconnecting power steering lines, removing the...

Has anyone done business with Mr. Viper “Eric Lee”

My personal experience buying a 1994 RT/10 - sight unseen - from Eric Lee was favorable. I'd recommend him. There were a few issues with my car after delivery (also with no warantee) but Eric bent over backward to appropriately address them. My two cents.

Is there a speed rating on the Viper RT/10 top ??

Re: Is there a speed rating on the Viper RT Roof ?? I have done Mach 0.24 without my soft top OFF, and I don't think I'd dare do it with the soft top ON. Above 100 mph, I can see a small sliver of daylight between the middle of the windshield frame and the soft top frame. At 140 mph (0.19...

    Latham Dodge

I would definately recommend Latham. Eric Lee bent of backward more than once to provide me with excellent service regarding the '94 RT/10 I bought from him.

Headers Glowing Red After Run Around Town

A similar thing happened to my '98 RT. New plug wires did the trick. The catalytic converter likely isn't 'clogged', it's just trying to burn the raw fuel being pumped into one of (or more) the left-side cylinders that isn't being completeley (or at all) burned since the spark isn't all...

    INSURANCE

Before totaling my '94 Viper Progressive was charging me about $790 a year. $500 deductible. Squeaky clean driving record. 3rd vehicle, used for "pleasure", no annual mileage limitations. After the at-fault crash, my next Viper is $1440 a year through Progressive. Still no speeding tickets...

    NEED HELP WITH PLATE TICKETS

Most agree that it is a long shot, but I've talked to a couple a WA State troopers and they've all agreed that someone must be having a bad day to ticket you for this. One guy in Canada has used this form I cooked up successfully in court to get out of a ticket: Exemption Form for Viper I...

    Road Trip Photos

I've been driving Vipers off and on since 1997, and it's amazing to me that the thrill just doesn't go away! Last weekend I got some down-time and drove a fantastic route through NW Washington State consisting mostly of Highway 101 looping counter-clockwise around the Olympic Mountain range. I...

Cold Air Viper intakes-Its a no win

Re: Cold Air Viper intakes-Its a no win Mr. Woodhouse, I appreciate you comments; however, I feel like no credit is due. Calculations are pretty straightforward, but what I'm really curious about is getting some real pressure measurements. I've never crunched the numbers and then gone on a...

Cold Air Viper intakes-Its a no win

Re: Cold Air Viper intakes-Its a no win <nerdmode = ON> I'd like to have a chat with the DC engineer who thinks intake runner length is responsible for lean combustion on the forward cylinders. I bet that's a misquote. The DC folks are a lot sharper than that. As far as someone making...

Vipermed airbox and ice =scary power

Anecdote from Kennedy Space Center, from many many years ago, regarding pure oxygen: So, a jeep was on its way to the launch pad to deliver a bottle of O2. The bottle had a leak, unnoticeable until the jeep's driver lit a cigarette. Or tried to. The biggest piece of the jeep they found was...

FYI on cutting hole in drivers side "speaker" vent.

Re: FYI on cutting hole in drivers side \"speaker\" vent. Another non-trivial benefit is the paperweight you get as a result of cutting the piece out. I've got mine at my desk at work. It always gets questions. People's reactions are generally rather amusing when I tell them, "oh, just for...

    Hood Cut-Out?

I did this modification to my '94; I highly recommend it. I found the Roto-Zip tool to be *perfect* for this job. The standard rotozip bit that came with the tool cut through the hood material with great ease. I cut from underneath and the paint on the top around the perimeter of the new hole...
