Might be buying a B/W GTS this week!
Depends. If 2001's are only worth low 40s, how is an older '96 at that price such a questionable sale? After having 5 Gen 2s I know there aren't many differences between the years, but there should be some price differential between cars 5 yrs apart.- FE 065

I emailed the seller in TX, all he would say is it's "Real nice" then wouldn't reply when I wanted more info before thinking about it seriously.. Autocheck says it spent most of its' life around Palintine, IL.- FE 065

Another Intake Question for a Noob
You seem fairly intent on bolting some doo-dad on your car.. Like they said, there isn't much if any HP to be had with typical bolt ons. Some things can even slow you down. Save for the blower..- FE 065

Myself, I fail to see the difference. If the rest of the car has had just about every OEM mechanical part changed at huge expense, harping about the rear suspension in an anything goes class is pointless.- FE 065

Will I notice any diffirence?
I met you at Bakers Hemi Head, I had the '01 Bumblebee ACR there last summer. 3 inch Borla exhaust on my car slowed it down at the strip so I sold the exhaust. I did manage over 123 mph with other easy mods though. (11.80 best)- FE 065

Headers on Creampuff

Help Me ID a 2001 ACR
The ACR oil filter adaptor is internally different than non ACR oil filter adaptors. If those oil filter adaptors look different from the outside, or if the hoses in that area are different somehow, that could give you a clue to whether it's a real ACR or not. Someone selling a clone probably...- FE 065

Kool Vue Muffler
If you use the stock tips they are double walled and the outside doesn't get as hot as the inside part. Aftermarket tips are sometimes double walled- FE 065

rpm x td ---------- = MPH gr x 336 td = tire diameter gr = overall gear ratio (axle gear x trans ratio) 336 = constant and variations for gr, td, rpm- FE 065

Crank Case Vent Issue
Mine wasn't blowing bad, but I cut slots into the spigot that holds that little filter, forming tabs to hold some small pieces of fire retardant foam I had lying around. I shoved the foam down into the catch can spigot and bent the newly formed tab over enough to keep the foam from being blown...- FE 065
