    Solution to insurance companies lowballing value is...

    I am trying to get insurance on a '49 dodge pickup (my new tow vehicle). Tried Grundy and got $1,013 per year!!! Double what I have been quoted from others. However, I am running into the same restrictions as I want to use the truck as my daily driver. If anyone has any more ideas let me know...

    What Ron failed to mention is that I pulled the smoking side sill off tailered the car to a muffler shop got it welded back together. Quick trip back to the track, side sill back on just as they were calling my run group again. Didn't even miss a session. You have to love running at the track...
