    If it's an acrid smell of exhaust, I'll bet I know what the problem is....'cause I had it! In the hatch area, around the wheel wells, under the carpeting (both sides of the car) are ports that are supposed to open and close, for what reason I am not certain.     Thanks everyone for offering your suggestions. Turns out the negative post alligator clip was placed too far down on the post, actually clipped to the nut. Don't ask me why (??), but the B/T light just stayed green. Adjusted the alligator onto the post, light turned red, went to flashing...

    I immediately turned on the head lights, as you suggested, when I first installed it and saw the green light......tender light stayed green. The tender is not hard wired, never has been. Just alligator clip it to the charging points under the hood. It's always worked just fine...if it wasn't...

I generally keep a Battery Tender on my '99 GTS if I leave it parked more than a week...had so much rain this past summer, it seems like it was on the car more often than it wasn't!     Don't get too far over the edge on the winter storage... 1)Oil change + Filter........yes 2)Battery Tender...........yes, you can send away or buy one at Pep Boys. About $50. 3)Tire/wheel removal....waste of time. Bump air pressure to 45-50 lbs. and buy 4 pieces of carpet remenants and park each...

    very most important, to me, is do not ever juice it when you are making a slow turn from a stop...the back comes around very, very fast on you and you'll lose control, besides look like a dork.

    you'll need the cut out on the driver's side floor mat for the '99 GTS and newer to allow for the lever that pops the rear hatch...wouldn't think the roadster would need this feature

    GTS Drone

    ditto with Bruce....has been Corsa's big selling point since day one. I've had the 2 1/2" and 3" Corsa's and they do not drone with or with out H/F cats. 3" is actually a nicer system and with H/F cats has a great sound.
