Had a chance to buy #58 from Victory Motors this summer for $74K but didn't end up pulling the trigger. I see it listed now for $109K :omg:

The GT2 is one of my favorite vipers, but if I had an extra 100k right now I would probably buy a new ACR (I'm sure some think I am crazy).

I'm with some of the others. For 100k I would get a new ACR. With all the GT2's for sale in the current market I can't believe they're going to get anywhere near 100k.

I think the ACR and specifically the ACR X and the TDS have basically crushed the value of the GT2's. They seem to be priced in the 100's but I really wonder if they sell? The GT2 was a tribute car with a fake aero package (ok it had some minor front aero) and a cool color scheme. I think it's a neat car and certainly would love one, but given the option, an ACR X or a zero mile GT2 uh hello! ACR X !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and no I don't give a rats butt what It'll be worth after I die at Barrett Jackson or the fact that it's not street legal.

Sorry about the ignorant question, but some of the ads state they came with 525 hp and options for 650 and 750 hp???

Is this true?

Those numbers are for the actual GTS/R race cars. The GT2 replicas made in '98 made about 460 h.p.

Thanks... I figured as much, but the ad was a little misleading. If they made that much, I'm sure I would have heard about it :)

I'm with most of you, for $100k I'm going with the ACR.

UNLESS they are modified by the owner, they came with smooth tubes just like the 99 - 2002 ACR for a total crank HP of 460 HP ONLY!

the higher HP #'s were quotes about the real GTSR race cars only.
