Wrong. He definitely picked you because you were the weakest link. He knew he could only get one speeder and even the police know the red vipers cant out run then. Unfortunately you were the red viper that got caught. Smart move by the cop, leave the fast cars alone. The other red ones got lucky, their time is coming lol.

Maybe Doge was a Freudian slip on his part. Just kidding. That was really nice of the other cars to drive around you and leave. Nice bunch of friends there. If they all would have stopped you might not have gotten the ticket.

They where actually really cool and waited for like 20-30 min up the road for me. (It's a great group of friends) At that time and that time only I was the only one speeding I was trying to catch up to the group.
Driving etiquette: If everyone is speeding it's every man for them self. It's going to be hard to pull over all of us. They normally will pick just one.
In this case I was the only one speeding so they waited for me up the road a bit not to piss off the cop.

The funny thing is I would bet $1,000 I wasn't going 60 honestly I wasn't looking but I don't think I was going over 50. The guys with radar detectors said the radar wasn't going off until I slowed down I would bet dollars to donuts (No pun intended) he pulled the 60 mph number out of his ass.

There is a little VA. town I used to enjoy passing through. That is, untill I discovered the speed trap on the edge of town. I'd like to know how much revenue that pig generates.... 50/35 on a wide open empty four lane.

I dislike police officers who are on a "power trip"...but if you are speeding you are speeding...... the way I look at it... I have sped so often when I don't get a ticket that there is not much sense if fighting when I do get a ticket....... bottom line there are a lot more honorable police officers than not and they do a job most of us wouldn't want..... they deserve some respect.

I have a tendency to never meet the cops that aren't high on themselves. Pretty sure that's a Hollywood legacy, those cops of honor.

The only cop I know is on a power trip. It's a $hit job ... Give a little man the power to ruin your day and guess what's gonna happen?? Cops are the good guys! The laws are the problem.
That cop who gives you a ticket may put the A-hole in jail who ***** your daughter, stole your car etc. I'll add that all cops hate traffic enforcement because they know it's BS and a revenue generator.
That said, still ********** about the only ticket I didn't deserve.....

I would venture to say 50 in a 35 deserved a ticket. I have not had a speeding ticket in 15 years and can honestly say if I get pulled over I won't even be mad. I have deserved one for a long time and I have somehow squeezed by because I keep it right under reckless driving every time I'm on the highway.

Driving a Viper has definately made me more aware of the posted limit. Even then I miss or forget to look every now and then.

You'd be mad if you got hit here.... I had ten yrs. or so clear of tickets at the time.
I was in that spot.
Imagine gently rolling out of town. It's a 4 lane w/grassy medium. No traffic..... You can see the road open ahead and all the views are open. It's a great spot for a revenue trap (edge of town where the limit goes 35 to 50) and there it was. I doubt I was doing over 45 but the man needs a job and popping speeders pays the bills.

Looking at the ticket he put down the wrong age as well says I am 33 instead of 32. I guess math wasn't his strong suit either.
