Anyone run both tires? From what I can gather, the Contis are close to overall grip to the Michelins but have better overall “feel” and are more forgiving.

Question I can’t find is which one puts the power down better? I would assume the Michelins but can’t find anything conclusive.

Looking to replace my Nittos soon.

FWIW, I've heard the same about the PS4S. Even from the Porsche crowd. They're just a little too soft.

I've been driving the Conti's on the Porsche for 3 years and they're great. Love 'em!
Won't hesitate to put 'em on the Viper.

I have the Contis on a supercharged '04. 355 in the rear, 275 up front. 1000 miles so far. They hook just fine.

Well, when I went to change the Perelli tires that were on my 2013 GTS I discover they were discontinued. I researched the hell out of the available tires and I decided to buy the Continental Tires. I found a great deal on the too. I figured if it was good enough for a Bugatti, my Viper can handle it well… and well it does. I’m happy with the quality, tread pattern and how they hook.

Thanks all!

If they hook fine on the gen V and a supercharged gen 3 I should be good then to go with the Contis.

I was leaning towards them but was undecided due to not knowing which one hooked better.

I have had both on my personal GTS, the Conti's most recent. I think the Mich's are stickier, both tires are good and don't time out
before 4 years.

What size are you running on the rear? I'm probably going to be in the market for a new set for my 04 before too long. I've always run the Pilot Supersports before, but it seems like they are now discontinued. I was looking around to see what else is out there and looking for the Contis in particular based on this thread, but they don't come in the original OE size for the rears (345/30R19). They do offer the Extreme Contact Force instead of the Sport though. Looks like the sport comes in a 355/30R19, which I'm guessing would probably work. I think that's a stock gen 5 size maybe? I know I alread get pretty close to my fender liners with my current setup since I've lowered it just a tad, but some of that might just be sagging plastic over the years and missing hardware since my car likes to spit out fender line screws for some reason.
