Gas leak

1994 Viper. Filled up at gas station. Did not overfill and drove home. No issues. Later on smelled gas n fuel was dripping rapidly under car. Siphoned out one inch into bucket and leak stopped immediately. Any theories. Not sure the grommet alone can do this. If not the grommet are the hoses accessible from the passenger rear wheel well by removing fender liner to check for leak. Can’t locate answer or parts other than grommet
