B&M With Stock Shifter Handle? (2nd Gen)

Having one installed this week and curious if the stock handle will work (preferred).

Get an IPSCO lowering rod, personally for a '97 the 2" lowering is ideal.
Does that work in conjunction with the B&M? It goes in tomorrow, so Id likely have to add that on myself later if so.

Yeah, it replaces the stock shifter rod that threads into the B&M shifter. Easy to replace - tell the shop not to crank down on the stock shifter rod when re-installing so swapping it is easier. Swapping it out is super easy - just remove the center console pad & trim and thread it off, then screw on the shorter unit.

Also, tell them to be careful with the rubber boot (not the leather one you see inside the car, below it). It's a NLA part and VERY easy to tear.
